EQ-i^® Certification Workshop Outline

General

The EQ-i Certification Workshop will prepare you to administer, interpret and provide feedback on the EQ-i results. This intense three-day workshop is similar to other certification workshops, e.g., the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator^® qualification, in that the pace is quick and is based on the assumption that you have completed the Pre-Work.

Objectives:  

• Receive detailed personal feedback on your EQ-i results
• Lay a foundation for understanding Emotional lntelligence
• Become knowledgeable about the Bar-On EQ-i instrument
• Gain detailed knowledge of the EQ-i scales and their definitions
• Know the available forms of administration and report options
• Understand the types of information contained in the reports
• Understand the statistics behind the development and interpretation of the Bar-On EQ-i.
• Become effective at interpreting EQ-i results and giving feedback in individual and group settings
• Practice, practice, practice
• Pass the two-part qualifying exam
